We will depart to the Tuscan countryside, where you will enjoy the medieval village of Montepulciano which is famous for having the best wineries in Italy. We will visit a great cellar which was, in Etruscan times, a tomb. Here you will test cheese, salami and wine. Then we will drive to the beautiful countryside and we will reach another interesting village. Pienza is famous for the production of great cheeses – especially Pecorino. We will continue on to where you can view the most amazing green valley of Val D’Orcia. You have probably seen this valley in many movies like the Gladiator! We will explore another small medieval village named San Quirico D’Orcia. Here you will have an unforgettable lunch upon our recommendation. After lunch it will be time to head back to Rome through the rolling countryside.
